- Transferring Property in Probate and Trust Estates
- 2 hour: This Program reviews the different methods for transferring real estate in Colorado- operation of law, beneficiary deeds, probate, and trust administration. If you have had any issues with buying or selling property owned by a trust or an estate, this course, approved for two hours of CE credit for real estate professionals, will explain the impact of probate or trust administration on the sale contract and timeline, necessary additional documentation, changes to the closing process, and frequent mistakes and problems.
- 1 hour: This is an abridged version of our 2-hour CE program that introduces agents to the issues related to helping clients sell and buy property from an estate or trust. This course will provide insight to agents regarding facilitating real estate transactions in probate estates and through the trust administration process. We will discuss the types of deeds used, the probate process, and how property can be used in a revocable trust.
